handy location good room

the train station was very close. shops and cafes surrounded the hotel, that was convenient. the room was good. the bathroom had everything i needed.

the bar experience wasn't great. the cocktails seemed ordinary. the martini even came with non alcoholic gin, disappointing.

the location was good , very close to the train station.

My room was quite shabby and smelled bad , maybe from the drains. the staff seemed grumpy, and getting clean towels reminded me of an effort. the room was not up to a 4-star hotel standard. I was disappointed, especially since the family room was expensive.

the check-in was smooth, my diamond status got attention with a warm welcome. i received the breakfast option as a welcome gift. a late check-out was arranged. i asked for a quiet, top-floor room and it was ready right at 3 pm (super punctual!). my request resulted in a cool upgrade to a premium room, was like a suite! it was quiet and comfy and it included water, nespresso pods, slippers, and a bathrobe. breakfast was okay, nothing special, but checkout was super friendly.

Romantic Getaway Near Gare de Lyon

helpful personnel excellent breakfast

the hotel is close to the railway station, just a short three-minute walk (perfect for early morning departures). i found the breakfast excellent with a large selection. there was a wide array of options, from cooked items to continental choices. the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request.

the elevator noise was noticeable, especially on the top floor. i had to change to a smaller, colder room to avoid the disturbance.
